Ambulance Service

Scottish Ambulance Service coverage of the area is provided by Ambulance Crew Marina Hilditch, Michael McLaren, and Jane Brown, Scott Munro and John Wyllie who all reside in Killin and work from the Ambulance Station on Lyon Road.

The Ambulance cover is changing at this time with the introduction of Paramedic RRU, and 24 hr cover. Updates will follow shortly.

The Ambulance is used mainly for Accident and Emergency work but does on occasions do some patient transport work. The area from Tyndrum to Strathyre is covered by the Killin crew with backup from Dalmally and Glencoe in the North and Callander to the South. The Scottish Ambulance Service Air Ambulance is also available from Glasgow for seriously ill patients (weather permitting) and has used at numerous Road Traffic Accidents.
