We travel up and stay in and around killin 2-3 times a year, as we love it so much. I have one question which you locals may be able to help me with.
I always get a few people from work ask me to bring them back some haggis, and the last lot I took back was from the butchers opposite the Rob Roy center in Callender.
Does the mobile butcher still turn up in front of the laundrete, near the cafe in Killin, and do you know if he has haggis, and on what day he comes? Failing all this can anyone recomend a really good place to purchase 'traditional' scottish haggis which is tied up in the gut...?
There's gold in them thar hills....... and perhaps a Haggis or two aswell, I suppose....... I'll speak to my mate Webbo at Lawers, and see if he can get me a trap made up ready.....
Thats it I'm-off a hunting...Everyone please place your orders here for freshly caught hillside haggis
