    Default Help wanted

    Dear all,

I'm a PhD student at the university of Aberdeen and I've been carrying our resesearch into perceptions of landscape in Lochtayside. I've been working with visitors to the area and the Killin and Kenmore p6/7s as part of the Ben Lawers Historic Landscape Project.

I'm now looking for local volunteers (age 12+) who can spare about 3 hours of their time to undertake a short field and indoor exercise aimed at finding out more about what people like and dislike about their surroundings (no expert knowledge needed!). At the moment I am planning on running workshops on Sat 12th and Thursday 17th August (meeting at Lynedoch at 1pm), but can run them at other times and dates to suit. All participants will recieve a pass entitling them to free entry to any National trust for Scotland property and refreshments will be provided.

Please let me know if you can help! Ideally I'm looking for about 20 people so please pass this message on to anyone you know who might be interested.

    Thanks in advance

    Camilla (camillapriede@hotmail.com)

    Hi Camilla,
Hope you don't look like that one Bonny Prince Charles recently married.
Anyway, local lad, Dino o' the Glenn is a landscape gardner, and more than willing to aid + abet fair young maidens.
Good luck with your research, and take plenty o' wedge with you to Killin. It ain't cheap. Write + tell us all how you faired.

I can confirm that I look nothing like the future queen. And am still looking for volunteers, if you or your landscape gardener friend can spare the time to help me out I'd be very grateful.

    Best wishes

    Camilla
